This summer, St. Joseph’s Center for Community Service is partnering with Kent County Parks and Recreation for two brand new adult fitness classes called “Let’s Start Moving Again” and “Get Fit for Life.”

“Let’s Start Moving Again” is geared primarily for those 55 years of age and over who want to get their bodies moving again. “Get Fit for Life” can be enjoyed by all ages—it’s a total body work-out in every class. Participants will need hand weights of two to five pounds, based on your fitness level, a mat for floor work (“Get Fit for Life” only), and water.
Teaching both classes is Tempie Starkey, a Certified Fitness Instructor. For the new Kent County Parks and Rec. classes, check out their web site at www.kentcountyrec.com or call (302) 744-2495.
Also starting is a new schedule with two sections of Zumba--so popular right now!
A schedule of all classes and programs on the St. Joseph’s campus is available on our Interactive Calendar.
If you have something that you can teach or have a program that you would like to see here at St. Joseph’s Center for Community Service, please let us know at (302) 653-8814.
