St. Joseph’s Center for Community Service has a long tradition of serving the youth of the Smyrna-Clayton area. This year, we’re expanding our programs to include St. Joseph’s Adventure Camp—the most exciting way for children to spend their summer.
Property
St. Joseph’s beautiful campus makes it the best summer camp site in Kent County. Just north of downtown Clayton, our 222-acre property is home a vast array of natural grounds, perfect for outdoors-y campers, while the 20-acre campus is ideal for recreation with ball fields, trails/tracks, and a playground. Campers can beat the heat indoors as well: our modern facilities house cafeterias and a gymnasium, plus classroom space.
Theme Weeks
The property is not all that’s unique about St. Joseph’s Adventure Camp! Children will participate in weekly themed adventures, including Under the Sea, Detective Science, Sports Specials, and many more. We’re going to bring these themes to life with real live artists, musicians, biologists, race car drivers, and the like. With a new and exciting agenda every week, summer is sure to be anything but boring. |

There will be field trips of swimming and bowling, and lots of typical, summer camp, structured activities such as arts and crafts, sports, and games. Adventure Camp will entertain children of all ages and with all interests.

After years of playing host, St. Joseph’s knows what it takes to make an ordinary camp into an extraordinary experience that will delight both you and your child. Experienced and caring counselors will guide the children and nurture them. Meals will be healthy, with free breakfast and lunch served every day of camp. So relax Mom and Dad, and leave the fun to us.
 Don’t miss out on a summer of adventure! Camp runs from June 14 through August 20, at only $120 per week. Registration includes a free t-shirt for your camper. Before and After Care is available, too—great for the working parent.
